Bill every hour you work. No timers.
Timerless keeps your timesheet while you work. It notes what’s on your Mac, sorts it by client and drafts your day. Each evening you check it in about a minute, then bill every hour.
For Mac, macOS 13 or later. Free for 7 days of use, no card. Then from $14.50 a month, with a full refund within 14 days.

Off the computer. A meeting or a call?

An example day with made-up clients. Try it: answer the two questions, then approve.
It sorts the day by itself
It uses the rules you’ve taught it, client names in window titles, your email and calendar, and clues like the Slack channel, the Figma file or the code folder. What it can’t place, it asks about, with its best guess first.
| What it noticed | Sorted to | Because |
|---|---|---|
| VS CodeFolder: acme-site | Sorting…Acme Studio · Website redesign | The folder is named after the client. |
| Gmail“Re: menu proofs” with [email protected] | Sorting…Hartley’s Bakery · Brand identity | You email that address. It reads who, subject and date, never the message. |
| Slack#hartley-brand | Sorting…Hartley’s Bakery · Brand identity | The channel names the client. |
| Away from the Mac“Weekly check-in” in your calendar, 10:00–10:30 | Sorting…Acme Studio · Website redesign | The meeting is with people at Acme, so the time away counts. |
| YouTubeyoutube.com | Sorting…Not work | You said so once. It remembers. |
| FigmaMenu v3 | Sorting…Asks you | Not sure, so it asks, one click, with its best guess first: your answer on 2 earlier days. |
How much do you give away?
Quick client tasks, like an email, a call or a small fix, are the hours a manual timer misses. Put in your own numbers.
$8,250
a year, for 110 hours you worked and didn’t bill.
Timerless records every stretch of client work from a minute up, so these end up on the invoice.
Then it gets you paid
Approved hours become an invoice in dollars, sent from your Gmail when you click, with your Stripe payment link so clients pay by card or bank. Then Timerless drafts every next step, with the late fee from your own terms.
| Day | Example: invoice 2026-014 for $6,860.00, due in 30 days | Who acts |
|---|---|---|
| 0 | Invoice 2026-014, made from 98 approved hours, with your Stripe payment link. A new client gets your W-9 with it. | You click Send |
| 27 | “Invoice 2026-014 is due on November 12”: a friendly heads-up, invoice attached. | Drafted for you |
| 30 | “Invoice 2026-014 is due today” | Drafted for you |
| 37 | “Invoice 2026-014 is overdue”: could they say when it will be paid? | Drafted for you |
| 51 | “Overdue: invoice 2026-014, 21 days late”, adding the $72.03 late fee your terms set: 1.5% a month. | Drafted for you |
Reminders wait for your click unless you turn on automatic reminders (weekdays, 9 AM to 5 PM). In the US a late fee is a term you set, not a right in law: set yours once and it’s printed on every invoice, and only invoices that carried it ever claim it. Upload a bank statement and it marks what’s been paid. Work out a late fee with the late fee calculator.

Your activity never leaves your Mac
Timerless works for the person whose time it records. It reads as little as it can, keeps it on your Mac, and sends nothing until you click.
Read, and kept on your Mac
- The app in front, and its window title
- The website’s domain, never the full address
- When you’re away from the keyboard
- Email: who, subject and date. Never the message.
- Calendar: who, when and the title
- Raw activity is deleted after 30 days
Sent only when you click
- Invoices and payment reminders to your clients

- Your W-9, to the clients you choose
- Nothing about your work comes to us. The app only checks for updates.
Never: screenshots, keystrokes, productivity scores or the text of your emails. Timerless isn’t built for watching staff.
